  • I think that this number shows nothing because it doesn't include the 99'ers that are still unemployed/ under employed and also has some to do with seasonal employment which will end after Christmas.

  • Connecticut was hit very hard by the storm one third of the population is without power. It is pretty bad here, so if you weren't affected, count your blessings, but don't minimize this if you were lucky. Many people were affected and we should all be sensitive to that.

  • i'm very concerned because I am undergoing chemotherapy and am immune compromised and just found out my cousin has swine flu.

  • It is Christmas, why is that a bad word now. This is America and Chirst is the most important component of Christmas. Maybe if we weren't blinded by greed these past few years and brought our faith to the center of our lives. We wouldn't be in the mess we are in economically.

  • I agree, when I realized around 9:30 - 10:00 the evening of the election, that Obama was deifinitely the winner with a healthy victory, I turned to my husband and told him that I felt bad for McCain.
